Acne scarring treated once with laser resurfacing, matrix enhanced PRP and subcision. After years of dealing with acne scarring and noticing that they had been getting worse with time, this lovely woman just wanted a treatment that would work. Acne scarring can be a very difficult problem to treat, as multiple types of acne scars can be present at once, all of which respond best to different types of treatment. As she noticed, they also tend to get worse with age due to volume loss and loss of resiliency in the skin. In general, the goal is to restore the structure of the scar, provide any missing volume, and restore the resiliency with a new latticework of collagen and elastin, that last part is key and is strongly aided by the matrix enhanced PRP.
