Revision series, part 12: A challenging face and necklift revision – fixing an inadequate neck result, scarring and pixie ear deformities. This lovely patient had a very recent facelift with another surgeon that left her with significant scarring that was visible around her ears, pulling down of her ear lobe (called a “pixie ear deformity”), and significant banding remaining in her neck. With her recent surgery not leaving a lot of excess tissue to work with, this was a very difficult revision to perform while adequately addressing her concerns. Her after result turned out better than we could have hoped for, and the initial issues of concern have all been fixed!
