- MOHS & Reconstruction Surgery
Nasal tip reconstruction utilizing a paramedian forehead flap after tumor removal. Paramedian flaps utilize the skin from the upper forehead to reconstruct the nose. It has a very interesting history dating back to hundreds of years BC when Egyptian surgeons would use this to reconstruct the noses of adulterers who had their nasal tips cut off as punishment. Needless to say, it has come quite a ways since then, but its anatomical roots are the same. Here you can see how modern techniques can yield a beautiful, natural result to reconstruct one of the most conspicuous places on the face. #mohssurgery @realself Worth it Rating 97%
