- MOHS & Reconstruction Surgery
Reconstruction at the eyelid-cheek junction after removal of skin cancer with Mohs micrographic surgery. This type of reconstruction is not necessarily the current textbook method to fix a defect in this area, but it’s one of my favorite techniques, as it utilizes the aesthetic surgical technique of a midface lift, which reduces tension in this area and allows orientation of the scar in an area that is nearly invisible! I’m currently in the process of publishing my technique for this reconstruction, along with a large case series - hopefully the current reconstructive paradigm can be a bit disrupted and improve outcomes for everybody!
