Eyelid reconstruction series, post 11: Reconstruction of the eyelid, nose, and cheek junction after infiltrative tumor removal with Mohs micrographic surgery. Tumors and reconstructions near the medial (inside) portion of the lower lid risk lid malposition and disrupted tear drainage.
Here, a laterally based advancement flap was utilized to take advantage of the junctions of cosmetic subunits around the lid, nose and cheek.
